Catless Downpipe and CEL -- limp mode?

Hi guys,
have a 430i and will install the catless downpipe in a few days. i use a JB4 and my understanding is that it won't suppress the CEL for not having a cat.

that said, will the CEL also cause limp mode or will I still have full power? thanks.

The cel won't cause you any problems otherwise then being annoying! Your car will still run at full power the only reason the cel will be there is because of the o2 sensors.
