CIC retrofit activation help

Hi all,

Just need some advice, I have a dab cic retrofitted and coded to my pre lci e90 and everything works good apart for the navigation, voice and apps which need activating. I have seen the cic patcher which looks good however I am confused with how I get the fsc files back into the cic unit.

As the car is a pre lci, do I need to have an icom unit or can I make fstool2 work with a dcan cable over obd2?

I've searched online and these forums but haven't been able to find a clear answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
