Thoughts on Valvetronic Design exhaust

Does anyone have feedback, whether good or bad regarding the Valvetronc Design exhaust fof F30s? I've been looking around the forums and youtube and can't seem to find actual reviews other than the sponsored ones. Want to know if this would be a great option or what else would you all recommend.

i've been using valvetronic exhaust for my previous F30 320i N20 and now in my F30 330i B48, no issue so far. Love the option of turning on and off the exhaust valve.

I highly recommend using vacuum valve, not the electronic valve. i had replaced 2 electronic valve in just 6 months, due my aggressive overrun BM3 setting. Now using vacuum valve for more than 1 year, still running great.

Sorry don't mean to get off topic, just curious how your burbles sound with a B48 and an aftermarket exhaust on BM3? I have a B46, but I'd assume it would sound similar to the B48. All the BM3 and/or aftermarket exhaust videos I find are B58 engines. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

Is the vacuum valve necessary if I'm only planning the exhaust is the only mod I'm planning on doing?

It's not necessary, I have found that when you start your car, you have to make sure your bimmerlink is active and connected before you start the car if you have it set to open all the time, otherwise the ECU tries to revert to stock settings, and you get a bit of a rattle on the exhaust valve actuator.

Sounds crazy good, gets a decent amount of burbles around 2500k rpm and under and then right around 4k it'll pop.
Even without a trans tune the shifts are crisp and brazy! Definitely broken a few necks in the process!

Are you saying the flap rattles when it closes?

Only after the cars been off for awhile it'll rattle slightly, but as soon as bimmerlink connects it forces it to the mode you have it selected too, its almost like the actuator relaxes after the vehicles been off for sometime and puts it at a relaxed closed position. if you have it set to auto mode or closed mode on bimmerlink, it never rattles.
