I am considering purchasing a 2020 X3 m40i. the deal as offered is 2k under dealers invoice. So 6k off a 67,800 msrp. Also 5k in bmw incentives and .9 financing.
I’m in so cal is this a good deal?
Thanks

9% off MSRP plus incentives, which Is good. Couple of months ago I would say push for 11% off MSRP. But depends on stock level now. If you like the deal thats all that matters.

Not bad. I saw one on the West Coast of FL and they only wanted to discount the dealer incentive. I asked was the the best and then they offered another $1500 for total of $5500. clearly didn't want to sell and said that was the best they could do. Needless to say, walked away.

Not sure if you're dead set on the x3 m40i but I had a couple of dealers out here offer 14% off an x3m. Might be able to swing that since the new ones are out and I don't think the first year sold that well and looks like a bunch left over...at least around here. As far as the deal you have it seems good as long as you like the options on the car. If not spend a little more and order one custom online.

I purchased a 2020 BMW X3 M40i a couple weeks ago for essentially the same discount, incentives and 0.9% financing as the OP. Dealer was initially not anxious to sell because this was the last M40i in inventory and the dealer liked having a 2020 M40i for customers ordering a 2021 M40i to look at. Because this was my third BMW purchased from the dealer, the CA was able to get me a better deal than the initial offer.

I had gotten a price in July on another M40i that was initially offered at a better discount, but the vehicle sold before I could look at it. When asked about the better offer in July, my CA told me BMW offered dealers some trunk money in July that was not available in August.

You may check financing and special offers available on a BMW in your zip code at the link below.

https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offers.html

"0.90% APR financing for up to 60 months on any new 2020 BMW X3 M40i model (as well as certain other models). Rate is available from participating dealers to very well qualified customers with excellent credit history who meet BMW Financial Services credit requirements."

Not all dealers may participate in the financing offer, not all models may qualify and not all customers may have a credit rating that qualifies.
