Magnaflow Muffler w/Stock E92 Tips?

Hi All,

I am looking to pick up a Magnaflow muffler, and alot of people have been recommending the 12158, which do not come with tips.

Either way, I like the stock look on the '08+ e92, would it be possible to put those tips back onto the 12158?

Any input is greatly appreciated! TIA!

Thanks, but was not looking for a full cat-back. Just want the muffler alone and use my existing tips if I could as I happen to like the look of stock.

Yes, the way the shop will install the muffler is diagonal, I believe they will have to extend pipes out from the muffler at a 45 degree angle at which point you can put the stock tips back on. I bought the 12158 and it definitely would fit.

I was in the same position as you in my e92 328i and the muffler guy convinced me to go for the muffler delete instead. It didn't have the ricey sound you would expect, and theres little to no drone at all with the windows up. It's also not crazy loud unless you plan on deleting cats and doing headers. This is a link to my video and how it sounds.
