Xenon bulb upgrade?
I have a 2014 bmw 335i with xenon lights as well as adaptive lights. I was playing on tinting my headlights to a light smoke and was wondering which bulbs I could get to gain back any loss of light i would have from tints. Money is not an issue as long as I can see as good as before the tints.

I'm planning on doing the exact same thing with mine. I've got smoke and dark smoke tint already. Just not sure which one I wanna go with |

Be wary of claims that higher color temperature bulbs give better results. Higher color temperature usually also results in lower lumens/lux output, and it's lumens/lux that measure real world brightness, not color temperature. The last source you want to trust is one that sells bulbs and doesn't provide lumens/lux figures.

The best bulbs you can get are OSRAM CBI/CBB and Philips equivalents. I recommend buying from www.theretrofitsource.com
If you DON'T want lighting issues then DON'T tint your headlights....
