M Aerodynamic Kit 335xi (Pics)

Hello everybody! Hello Doctor Nick!

I just got my M Aerodynamic kit installed on my 335xi. Let me just say It looks a million times better. Other than a few things that need to be polished out by the body shop on Monday they did a pretty good job too. The only bad thing is they washed my car after they put the kit on and dried it with a shammy (micro Scratches galore) sigh. I got the kit from Vally BMW here in Fay, NC for $950 about $1098 after tax. And paint and install was $675 @ Callaghan Body Shop.

Let me know what you guys think! I'll get some better pictures up once I get her washed and waxed on Tuesday. After the kit has all the imperfections polished out.

Just for fun:

looks good, aggressive...nice job!

I think it will definitely make some people scratch their heads as to exactly what it is (M sedan or not) but I think that's a good thing. It's good to be different and stand out!

Sorry to hear about the scratches. Chamois and paper towels are definite no-nos for car paint.

I would be careful about the whole buff out thing re the scratches. Wax tends to hide swirl marks from power buffers/polishes but they will show up as soon as the wax gets washed off from rain etc.

You saved me the trouble of imagining what it would look like on my car as we both have the same car, color and wheels!

Does the lower insert of the new rear bumper need to be painted black? Or is it already finished and can be used as-is?

Holy thread resurrection!

The insert comes unpainted black plastic. And is intended to stay that way.
BMW even makes a carbon fiber insert as an optional part.

Looks good! +1 on the drop lol. If you're not looking to get TOO low, MassBimmer has his H&R + Bilstein combo for sale for a very good price: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=575150

and cb4, you can get the kit with PDC.
