Ever had a coil die soon after replacement?
I had a coil in cylinder 5 die about 4 weeks ago. I replaced just the single coil and all was good. Now this week the exact same cylinder is giving the same symptoms. Due to weather I haven't had a chance to diagnose properly (used OBD II to find the cylinder) but it feels just like a busted coil (could be plug, but it seems like a coincidence that I recently touched this cylinder).
Have you seen a coil die so soon after install? There's nothing wrong with the install (can't really screw up a coil on these engines). Coil is NGK brand. |

Your post is a bit vague and it Could be the coil or something else, no point assuming, you need to properly diagnose, otherwise you'll be wasting time wnd money om parts that don't fix your issue. |
