He's probably referring to the separate trans flash that comes with BM3. I flashed it in my car with BM3, but all it does for non M cars is remove the torque limits in 3rd and 6th gears

There is also a GTS/CS BM3 trans flash included that enables more precise and firmer shifts with higher line pressures, but that is only for M2, 3, 4 DCT and doesn't apply to non M cars

Since OP has a M4 he's prolly content with the BM3 GTS/CS BM3 flash

Are BM3 and XHP compatible? I see MHD advertises compatibility but nothing from BM3.

I know a few people running BM3 and XHP at the same time. XHP got nothing to do with the DME.
