The photo you show should be manifold MAP sensor after the throttle control. There's another MAP sensor on the charge pipe which is pre-throttle pressure. Here's the photo for MAP sensor on charge pipe (pre throttle boost if you read from the BM3 log file).

They're actually boost pressure sensors. The one before the throttle body measure pressure, then there's on mounted on the intake manifold and it measures pressure and temperature.
