I have finally installed my boost gauge and tapped in from the ftp charge pipe. The gauge is old but hardly used (digital supply stepper motor - Glowshift elite 10).

Upon start up and idle it's at 0 psi. Normal driving around town is 5psi. Quick blast in 2nd gives me 15psi. Not done any more than that.

Does this seem like normal behaviour. In previous cars and videos on YouTube (other makes/models) it would bounce from -HG to + PSi. Mine barely moves, but it does move if that makes sense.

Car is n20 328i. I have stage 1 remap, ftp charge pipes, fmic and GFB dv +.

Anyone got vids of there boost in action?

Edit/Update: apparently the charge pipe doesn't give a vacuum? Is this correct? Hence why boost gauge doesn't read an HG.
