Where did you buy item #3 crystal control knob? How was the install? Didn’t get glass controls since i didn’t like how the sunlight would reflect on the shifter knob but do like the control knob. Thanks.

Install takes 15 minutes, but having done it once, I could do it in 10. |

Are those 757 wheels replicas wrapped in Lionhart tires?

No those are OEM 757’s. And yes on the lionharts. Very good tires from China, quiet on the highway, good grip wet or dry and about $550 a set with a 30K mile tread warranty.
Also should’ve stated that the carbon fiber is most likely hydro-dipped plastic. My Z06 has real carbon fiber and there’s a big difference. Good news I bought the X7 with the Luxury seating and Vernasca leather so I didn’t end up with BMW’s sensatec fake leather. I’m sure it’s fine either way. All of the other parts are aftermarket (Lloyd’s mats, key chains, crystal knob, roof rack rails, etc). Last edited by cvp33; 06-28-2020 at 08:50 PM.. |

Has anyone added chrome exhaust tips to their X7? If so, which ones and how about some pictures for us to see? I'm looking for a set that will look good with my X7 x40i. I'm not sure if they would look stupid or not with the factory configuration.

Are you talking about adding a chrome tip to the actual exhaust pipe, which is inside the exhaust trim pieces around each exhaust pipe on each side of the rear bumper? If so, I have never heard or seen that. Of course, others have swapped out the chrome exhaust trim pieces for the black/shadow line pieces on the X7 w/M-Sport package. I don't know if anyone has done a DIY for it though on the X7. I may try a DIY as I just received a set of black/shadow line exhaust trim pieces I recently ordered and the install looks similar to the G05 X5, for which I have seen a few DIYs.

Did you match the z06 to the lawn tools, or lawn tools to the z06?

When we get snow in NC, I like to shovel it fast. The Z06 runs 2:04 at VIR and it’s Sebring orange. So using the transitive property, I thought an orange shovel would be fast. There are a few BMW’s in the video below.
