Trunk lid handle
Anybody has purchased this?
I really want it and think it is useful, however I'm not sure how to install or if it comes with instructions, bolts and stuff? I assume you just drill into the marks in the trunk where this would go. Glues? Really? I see a mark on the metal on where two screws could attach it, I guess glue has to be really strong,... the trunk is not that "light"

^Yeah, I use that too, however the trunk doesn't close by only pulling, you have to press it to close it, this handle is supposed to help on that part...

^ I don't like slamming doors nor trunks,... I will try it and then post the outcome, I see that nobody here has it yet,... maybe not a popular item but I sure find it useful.
I'll let you know.

I had one....it isn't worth spit. I learned to close the trunk by using the inside recess, haven't had to put my hand on paint since.
Don't waste your money on this part.

Hi Guys, I put one on my lid about three month ago and have no issues with it. You have to clean the lip metal inside the trunk with alcohol and peel back the plactic tape from the two way tape on the stainless steel handle and press it in place. Two minute job.

My trunk seems to be very hard to close, not hard hard, but I mean, even if I use the inner handle to throw the trunk down, I still cannot close it completely or else I have to re open and then try again with no luck,... and I honestly don't like to "throw" the trunk,... I just want that extra push to put it in place,... and from the post above, I see it just do that,... still a bit concerned about the double sided tape,... I thought it'd had some screws to fasten it tight.

my trunk mechanism has 2 springs that assist the opening, BUT they're both off the hinges and keep coming off. Maybe thats why its easy for me
