M Sport Steering Wheel Dual stage (but not US-spec) Retrofit Coding

There's a lot of info on how to retrofit a single stage airbag into a USA dual-stage car, but not a lot on retrofitting a dual stage, non-US spec wheel/airbag.

You'll see this error code: 930910 - Airbag, driver, valve: resistance too high

If you're a USA buyer and bought a steering wheel/airbag from eBay that has dual stage (2 wires coming from the back of the airbag) but not the 3rd blue adaptive valve/vent plug, you will need to code adaptive_airbag_fahrer_vent > set to nicht_aktiv in ACSM 3000, then clear the code. Restart the car to verify.

Dude, thanks a lot. Yesterday installed my new steering wheel, and got error with airbag. A lot of googling, found your post. I don’t have blue wire but it’s dual stage, so downloaded esys, and went coding. Done what you wrote, and everything seems fine now.
Big thanks.

Single stage - 1 plug
Dual stage - 2 plugs
Dual stage US-spec - 3 plugs (one being blue)

Pretty easy to tell the difference if you can see the back of the airbag.

Ahh okay thanks. I bought an airbag and just thought 2 plus meant us spec.

So how do you clear the code? I just purchased a EU wheel/airbag and haven't done anything. I'm looking through forums to ensure I do it right. I'm a bit nervous I may do it wrong. I have downloaded ESYS only, will this program clear the code? Thanks!
