Sat Nav retrofit prof or business for sale.
Right, I have the following parts for sale and this is what I paid for them.
Professional nav CCC £520 I drive controller £80 CCC fan and cable £45 8.8" Monitor £350 Trim for climate relocation £20 Trim for going round the CCC £30 Centre console gear surround trim (this is in matt black ala new M3 so matches any other trim) £100 Dashboard £350 (this is plain black and will fit the saloon, coupe, touring and cab) One cable made up that just require crimping into 4 wires on the back of the radio harness. A local garage with Autologic will code your car, it will work straight away, but once coded you will get set up features via the nav instead of the stalk and at that point any updates done at BMW will update your nav too. £1000 or near offers. Will need coding and this is still very much trial and error, but all those that have tried so far have got it up and running no problem. If you want all the bits to do the retrofit but wiyth Business nav I can do that for £500. Pics of the trim...... Last edited by gIzzE; 10-31-2008 at 06:06 PM.. |

No I haven't done the retrofit, I sold my car.
I got the kit wired up and working, was about to swap the dashes and put it in when I sold the E90 and went back to an E46 M3. I would sell the whole kit to do it for £900, that would allow £100 for someone to collect or arrange a courier and get the lot for a grand, that includes all th little bits like climate hose, CCC fan, nav trim fascia and wiring harness. Plus it is all tested and working properly. Russ as BMWorx in Aylesbury said he would swap install it and programme the car and it should take 5 hours. He charges £55 and hour. |

As my car does not have Nav it doesn't have the shark fin aerial would this also need to be retro-fitted Gizze ?
Am I right in thinking the whole retro-fit to include dash board swap and coding etc will take max 5 hours ? Cheers Spin

I would guess at 5 hours, but have to be realistic and say could be an hour more maybe??
GPS aerial would be included, this would go under the dash. |
