As I heard from dealer, G30 already have Android Auto, for G05/07 is not released yet. But this info is actual for my region, don't know about others.

I just picked up my X7 after the first service and the SW was updated to 07.2020. I can finally use Android Auto. First impression is it works quite well.

Would you be able to share which dealer you used? Mine was saying as of last week there's no new update.

Also, in your bmw connected app, do you see additional information like iphone users have been able to see for a while such as windows open, doors closed etc?

I got mine serviced at BMW of Encinitas.
I don't see any additional information like windows or door on my BMW connected app.

I wonder when it'll be available OTA. My dealer still claims no new software available for my car which is running 03/2020.35

Does your paperwork show anything about the software version they installed?

Dealer still claiming no android auto idrive software available and nothing newer than 03/2020.35 that's on my car.

No, it only says "vehicle software upgraded". Maybe your dealer hasn't got the latest software yet..You can show them the picture attached.

You'd probably have show them the VIN as well. The dealer's claim the update versions are specific to the options on the car which might be true in some aspects. However, BMW claims the updates apply to all BMW X7s.

BMW is terrible when it comes to pushing out/releasing updates.

Dealer updated mine to 07/2020 and Android auto is there, google maps music, waze ahhh....
