Recently have been in a couple of small BMW ranging from M235 to regular 3 series, and boy did I enjoy the feeling of being behind the steering wheel of a good car like BMW!

It's on the way, being shipped
Will be a weekend car

Anyone here has felt, let alone done the same?

Don't know whether this car will get a lot of behind the wheel tune for me, and if I do, will it be for the handling and "tossability" or for the toplessness lol

THE ONLY THTIMG THAT'S BEYOBD ME!! Why the original owner before me has replaced the beautiful 18" wheel with those 17" wheels? I HAVE NO IDEA!! Hate those and I am sure the ride will be too soft and I might have to replace with 19"

A few years back I had a M240i loaner while my M5 was getting serviced, and I LOVED that car!! It was an absolute joy to drive. I can easily understand what you are talking about, and I have contemplated looking for a used one myself.

I got to drive the new M340i as a loaner and I know exactly what you mean. I came from a E46 M3. I have been thinking about a used Porsche with a manual to get some of that feeling back.

I know man
My wife thought I were crazy
And I told her it's for the convertible piece if it, and a weird car blah blah blah, but honestly deep inside, I know it's more of a handling and go cart car, but certainly the toplessness will be a bonus

Now you're rubbing it in brother
I wanted a manual tranny so bad, but wifey doesn't know how to drove it and would have been too selfish to do that!

LOL
Hahahahaha
They are really cheap (of course relatively), a bargain for the ton of fun times they can provide and also less miles on the beast and if you factor in has it might be a wash lol
Enjoy
Love your color combo man

Having owned my F90 since August of 2018 I find myself missing the size of the BMW F80 it replaced. We have several vehicles in the house hold and I find driving my wife's GTI MKVI with the APR stage 1 to be a blast. I may consider the new Cayman GTS 4.0 to replace the F90.

I've actually done the exact opposite...
I traded my M2 for the M5 and couldn't be happier!
M5 to me drove as tight as M2, and the only time I realize "Oh damn, this is a big car" is when I'm making U-turns! Crazy how well BMW hide M5's weight.

And having a e36 M3 really made me question the need for M2 for me. to me the e36 is so much more gokarty compare to the M2, minus the power of course.

Oh but I gotta agree M240i convertible is a heck of a weekend car! Congrats! If only they make a M2 variant....

As much as M5 F90 tries really hard to be the jack of all trades! But that's what it can't be, a small car!

I completely understand. People will roast me for it, but I love my Civic Type R. The M5 is an amazing vehicle, but I feel like it is just too much for the street. It doesn't really come to life until you get to imminent death levels of speed.

The Civic OTH is a blast at any speed and actually doesn't give up anything to the M5 except sheer thrust on the straights.
