Hey guys! I've got an LCI 320i

I have stage 1 BM3, the BM3 transmission tune, and SAT coded.

What are some things I can do from a safety standpoint? I want to get a custom tune that makes the car faster than stage 1 but safer than stage 2. I've seen so many N20s blow up on stage 2 regardless of having upgraded FMIC and downpipe.

The 320i with stage 1 BM3, transmission tune, and SAT is absolutely wonderful and I want to run a tune on this car forever.

But I want to know what mods I should do to be safe!

Charge pipe definitely.

I'm not sure how much more you could pull out of a custom tune as far as safety goes. Stage 1 is 240hp or so, Stage 2 should be 270-280hp. I don't know how much of a benefit it would be to land in the middle with a custom tune. If you find out definitely let us know.

Where are all these blown up stage 2 cars you're talking about?
