Hotels in NYC/NJ.
Hey guys!
If you know of any cheap hotels in NYC or NJ (close to NYC), please post up here. The e90post Mid-Atlantic members will need a place to stay after BMFEAST 2008. So any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Scott

There's a Hilton in East Brunswick as well, might be cheaper since I'm sure they have less people staying than at Newark which is right by the airport. Or I would look up a Howard Johnson or something as well, depends what they're looking for.

You can usually get the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson in Jersey City for around $80-100/night on Priceline.
In NYC, can get the Intercontinental in Midtown east for around $150 on Priceline if you're lucky/depending on dates. |

I would stay out of Newark if you can.......I would try to get a hotel close to a train station and you can take the train right into NYC if you want, that's the way to go. My knowledge is limited on the area, but I'll be moving to Nanuet this coming Saturday!

I would advise against staying in NYC. You will end up paying too much for parking. Stay in a hotel close to the city and just take a bus in.

There are tons of hotels/motels/inns in North Jersey 5 min from the bridge to NYC.
Hilton in Fort Lee Western in Fort Lee Holiday Inn in Fort Lee MADDD MOTELS on route 46 everywhere. NY is gonna cost around $200 a night for hotels. Parkings going to be around $30 bucks a day. NJ near bridge is only 5 min from NY on non traffic days.

just something to consider.... if you find a hotel in jersey city its like a 15-20min train to nyc. and a 10 min drive with no traffic. but the $8 tolls to get to the city make the 1.75 path train much more appealing. as to where in jc, i'd recomend checking for hotels in the downtown area. be careful bc some parts of jc can be pretty grimey

Hyatt Place in Secaucus... I stayed there this pass weekend. There's a bus that goes into the city, right in front of the hotel. It runs 24 hours and the bus ride is about 15 mins. And the parking at the hotel is great! Empty parking garage that can fit a ton of cars...
