///Alan's Marina Bay Blue X5M Competition///
Originally had a X5 M50i on order since march but with the delays it still hasn't gone into production. I got sick of waiting and with my M3 being sold I started looking around and found this gem in CT at the price i wanted to pay. Coming from a F15 and F85 I am pretty familiar with these cars but man the F95 takes everything to the next level and then some!
The interior is simply amazing all around. The F85 was pretty good already but this is a few notches above that in terms of look and feel. Its light years above my M3 in this area where its showing its age. Can't comment on the drive too much since I am still in break in but you can tell the power is there. The sound is perfect with the Comp package exhaust. One thing that surprised me was how firm it rides. My car came wit the Pzeros and even in comfort its very taut and firm. Feels firmer than my F85 on 22's all around. Maybe it will soften up like the X3M does. On bumps its fine but where it feels strange are those raised ridges that extends across the entire lane. Feels like the car hops over them. No issues with the car so far except the leather on my steering wheel in the top section looks wavy. its like they layed the leather over a non smooth surface so you can see little waves and bumps under the leather. Un-acceptable in a 120K+ car so I will have the dealer address it during the break in service. My favorite thing about it is the color. Marina Bay Blue is by far my favorite blue of all time. It pops like crazy when any light hits it. It makes this car in my eyes. I typically go all out modify my cars but this is the first time where i feel BMW got exterior perfect out of the box. Painted reflectors, tint, and maybe a subtle drop when options becomes available is all i have planned. All in all I am extremely happy with the car. BMW M really made this F95 feel special all around. Do I miss my F80? Sure. Its still the best BMW i've ever own. Just does everything well and checks off the most boxes for me. The X5MC will offer different enjoyment for me AND the family which is key. Alan Update 6.14.20 got to throw in a gas station pic......I will be here often with this thing lol

Some M5's had the same leather issue on the steering wheel. Most got them replaced.
Killer ride ! |

Looks stunning Alan!! You made the right decision going with the X5M vs M50i, especially since this is your only car/M car. BTW, I just picked up another CS, 2020 M4CS w/CCB in Melbourne Red
