G20 B58 Intake Muffler Delete

Fun little inexpensive product to clear up the engine bay and increase intake noise a bit. Not going to give the same benefit as say a BMS intake but I think you guys will enjoy it.

CNC machined metal so it properly locks in and seals on the oring. Looks really nice in the engine bay.

Interesting... only $36 w/ shipping and it isn't some cheap ebay part so I just brought one to give it a try.

I'll give feedback once I receive and install it.

Tried to order but yet again another automotive product that can't be shipped to California (sigh).

Fuel-It - given your partnership with Burger Motorsports - can I order from you? I figured if I can buy Fuel-It items from Burger maybe I can order Burger from Fuel-It?? If yes - let me know how I can order.

Otherwise I'll hit up Mike at X-PH - he seems to be able to ship most anything to California

Thanks!

Oh, CA sucks. We follow BMS' guidance on shipment so wouldn't be able to sell it either without risking getting in trouble which isn't worth it for a $29 sale.

So I just got mine. Install was pretty straight forward. I just had to unclip the top of the intake box to get enough room to unscrew the 2 T20 screws.

Took a brief test drive and tbh there is barely any difference if there is any at all. Even with the windows down and going through the whole rev range it sounds pretty much the same.

BMS let's you hear the turbos spool with windows up. Well worth the cost even if it does not provide the hp gains they say.

I thought it sounded louder in the car I tested it with and opens up a lot of space in the engine bay. But I guess the BMS intake is the best option for really dramatic sound changes.

I suspect the ASD will audibly overpower most any intake except for an open element. I may be wrong - I ordered one and have my ASD coded off so we'll see.

I really just want it to clean things up under the hood. Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Maybe! I realized that maybe since I have MPE the exhaust is overpowering any additional intake sounds.
