Running a cable to the fuse in the glove box

Anyone know how or have a link to diy on routing a cable from the engine bay to the fuse box in the glove box on a 2012 m5? I picked up new headlights and they have a wiring harness that requires it for the halos. I can't find a path to get through the firewall. Tried searching like crazy sorry if I missed a previous post on this.

There is a hole in the firewall on the drivers side next to the master cylinder. It has a pre cut knockout in the firewall pad. Pull that off and you will find a hole to pass a wire through. You may have to poke a hole in a grommet. I can’t remember for sure. From there I would use a wire to pull it up to the access panel on the drivers side of the dash. There you will see a metal tube you can pass a wire through all the way to the passenger side of the vehicle. PM me if you need any more details.
