Replacing secondary cats with resonators.
Hi, my current exhaust setup is:
VRSF Downpipes Secondary Cats Magnaflow exhaust with an X-Pipe If I replace the secondary cats with these resonators, will it increase sound? Here’s a photo below. |

It will increase slightly.
I gutted my secondary cats, they act just as resonators without the ceramic honeycomb. It was noticeable but only slightly louder, mostly on cold starts. I only have cat-less downpipes, stock mufflers. So results may vary with other exhaust mods. |

Do it ..will sound awesome.. but you will probably get the eye-watering smell of hydrocarbons at stoplights.
Surely you laugh at emissions in your state. Cheers, its 5 oclock somewhere. |
