Injen Intake Help!
So im installing my intake now and everything is going smoothly except when I get to the last elbow that is attached to the engine or throttle body...there is a small hose going to it which Im guessing is for air flow sensing...there is no re-connecting on the injen intake and Im not looking for any check engine lights...anyone have ideas or people who have installed the intake what to do about this...thanks

most likely a breather hose. no where to connect it to the intake huh thats weird injen usually has a nipple to plug it into. you can either zip tie to something so it doesn't move or buy a breather hose filter. (looks like a small k&n filter with a clamp.http://macsdomains.com/macsboost/zen...atherhonda.jpg

hey me too, i don't know what to do with the little hose. I left it disconnected and went for a drive without any problems but still is weird that it doesn't plug anywhere. also i'm having trouble fitting the intake perfectly so that it doesn't move...i've tightened the hose clamps but its such a tight fit. also the Rubber Adapter that connects the intake to the throttle body is extremely small on the side that fits over the intake...anyone have the same problem? everything is installed right now but i'm going to take it apart and redo it again tomorrow so everything is a tighter fit. For some reason, the intake feels loose, but not to the point that it would fall off the throttle body

I just loosely zip tied the hose to another...the intake sounds amazing!!and the increase in HP is noticeable..as for any knocking or vibration..you have to make sure to either zip tie the two large hoses that are underneath the panel you install...those I believe are the source of the little noise you may here...other than that A+..

I have the same problem on my E92.
It sounds great and all and I had the problem with the hose as well. Intake worked fine for about 3-4 days but then service engine soon went on and then went off for a while, then went back on a 4-5 days later again and has been on ever since. J/W (sorry for the newbie question) but if the Service Engine Soon light is on - is it a serious problem? Like enough to damage my engine? Would it effect anything or is it just because the computer doesn't fully recognize the intake? |

^^ Try plugging up hose or PMing Bobby@bavarian or w/e his name is. This
should not be happening.

wow, trippy stuff!
jus when i was so sure of gettin one when the funds come in, i hear bout this prob.. hmm so does that mean e92 intakes are somewhat dif from e90s since it seems as if the e90 drivers with this set up aren't having any of these issues... |

Iv had the intake now for almost a week..no problem/lights (knock on wood)..this intake is amazing...great sound..great power...all around a big plus...i would not consider this to be a "problem" at all..i just started this thread to see what the hose was...it should not hold anyone back from purchasing it at all..of course im gonna keep on top of it and find out why there isn't a spot for it..but A++ product

The hose was as someone posted up that it is a pressure release tube and
should be ziptied up and don't block the air flow to it.
