Sport mode prompt in idrive?

Dealer asked me to bring my car in for a DME update, at first I was weary that they may take my MPPSK exhaust features away (popping and crackling), they did not.

But what did go away was the idrive prompt that showed which driving mode I was entering when I pressed the sport mode button to either sport, sport+, normal or eco (traction is still displayed).

I still can tell it's switching modes based on throttle response, exhaust sound and the gauge cluster displays this info.

Anyone else see this?

Is there any resource to find out what specifically was changed with the update? My service advisor didn't give me too in depth info...

You can change the setting in iDrive.

Just found it in the pop ups section. Didn't have that before. Thanks!

I personally turned mine off. My wife kept on asking, "Why are you driving in Sport mode?"

(The dash "Sport" "light" does switch over though...)

Yep, and I'll probably switch it back to off again...I DO like using it as an opportunity to turn on the sport dials.
