Dash Cam Hardwire on 2019 X3

Purchased a Garmin Dash Cam. Not sure if I should hardwire. Wondering about warranty. How easy is it to hardwire.

Hi,
Very easy to hardwire camera (plenty of threads here with details)
You basically buy a wiring kit that includes longer power cables that has correct plug for the camera end and a jumper fuse and earth tag to connect via the front fuse box behind the glovebox.
This is how I fitted the dashcam on our X3M40i a few weeks back.
Below is view of the camera (Nextbase 4063) along with a live image on my iPhone via Wi-Fi.

Thanks, how about warranty. Does this void factory warranty.

If you do a similar wiring, there should be no issue with warranty coverage. My install has been working since February 2020 flawlessly, both in terms of the images captured, and zero problems or codes from my X3.

F56 and F57 are empty slots which you can use so you don't need to tap into F46 which is used by the front cigarette lighter
