Is this a good deal for a BMW 335i?
2008 BMW 335i; Alpine White on Black, Sports Package, Leatherette, USB Audio and PDC; has currently 12 xxx KM's
It's an E90 Sedan $40k taxed-in; locally(non US-Car); clean title; no accidents/claims What do you guys think? Is this a good deal or should I get him to go lower? Last edited by NeTWorKz; 09-17-2008 at 09:13 PM.. |

The only thing to consider is the 1% financing the BMW is offering for their used cars. Might be better off sepending a little more purchase price with 1% vs. borrowing from your bank at 4,5,6% unless you have the money in cash of course!

that is indeed a very good deal with tax in. Even without tax in, it's pretty good!

Oh? It's just a really good deal? haha
I thought it would be a steal, at around what price would it be a steal? 38k? I'm trying to get the BEST deal possible, cause everyone wants to save as much money as they can! Would it have any effect if this was a demo model from dealership? Would I have more bargaining room? |

Do you know why this car is for sale? Almost new cars that end up back on a dealer's lot (or for sale privately) might be a really good deal if it is because someone bought more car than they could afford and then had to unload it, or changes in circumstances forced them to sell, but if it's back on the lot because the owner was having so many problems with it they couldn't stand to keep it, you might not want that.
If it's a private sale, the seller may not know what the vehicle is worth or not care how much they get, but a dealer would presumably not be giving away cars that they could easily sell for a few thousand more. |

The black book wholesale on a 2008 335i configured as described is $36,200 to $38,600 so $40,000 tax in is possible but still a very good deal.
I would thoroughly check it out to to see if it was in a prior accident or there are other circumstances involved. If not, I would snatch it up before someone else does... |
