Oh Christ here goes. People with REAL BMWs will have a lot to get of their chest.

I'm going in.

Edit a few hours later, struggled to see much support for the car in the comments. Universal flame it seems

One would be better served with a 2 series coupe or an older 3-series coupe or sedan. I just do not like the looks of the car. Will test drive soon so that I have more experience behind the wheel so that any comments good or bad are legit.

I had a chance to drive one and I liked it. I feel sorry for the 'purists".

No need to be sorry. To each his/her own. I’m sure that some would even enjoy a FWD turbo-diesel Porsche 911...

Did you like it because of the badge or impressed by FWD? What did you like?

A bit of an under handed question. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings with my post.

I like it because you wouldn't know it's FWD. It has lots of power and the fit and finish is just as good as mine for a lot less.

Vote with your wallet.

I understand why the 2 series grandcoupe exist, I don't understand why this trim level exist.

both the Civic type r and Veloster N are better FWD performance cars and the VN is half the price. I don't see BMW fan boys buying this and it's definitely not an enthusiast car.

AWD you have the golf R and STI, even with Subarus garbage interior is still choose a headgasket eater over this

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

I've been driving mine for a week now after ditching my previous m2. This car is fast, it is roomy, full of tech, and it is a sleek looker too!
