Front Tyre Wear - Replacement
I've been fortunate I suppose that I haven't needed to buy new tyres for any of my cars for many years. I've usually swapped my cars long before new tyres were needed.
However, in these unusual times I'm having to keep my current car until I can order another, probably for next Spring. The front tyres on my X3 are showing some outer edge wear and I'm aware that other people have had similar issues. So, here's the question. I currently have Bridgestone Alenza RFTs and have researched what is available in the required size - 245/45 R20 103W RFT. Like for like Bridgestone Alenza at £227 fitted. or Pirelli P Zero at £184 fitted. If I choose the Pirellis will there be any issue (other than looks) in having these on the front and Bridgestones on the rear ? I won't be doing any great mileage, so the same poor wearability need not be an issue. Thanks.

Thanks for that. They're the old ones but I'm sure they'll do me for a few months.
