This might have been discussed before but any ideas where I can locate the fuse for the ashtray USB, I tried to connect my phone so it can charge but no power.

If the actual USB slot above the cupholders isn't working, it isn't a fuse causing the issue, as that connects directly to the headunit and if a fuse for that was out, you'd have a bunch of other issues. However, per the documents on the car, that particular USB slot isn't designed for charging, only the one in the armrest is.

I'd begin by locating the fuse for the ashtray USB in the diagrams, and see what else is on the same circuit. Then see if these other items are operational. If they're also not getting power, then you know it's the fuse.

Did BMW not give the g30 5 series a fuse diagram & index sheet? If they did...you can locate fusse using that fuse index sheet. On the last generation...it was a laminated sheet folded up and inserted in the rear (trunk) fuse location. If you have that sheet and need help understanding it...post back with what you need help with.

might be a longshot, but check the fusebox under the glovebox - check fuze F50
