Valeo SMF on 330xi?
2007 530xi N52 (5 series forums are useless for upgrades and manuals)
The Valeo single mass conversion is on my mind but most places just list it for the 25 and 28s. Is there any real difference between those and the 30s? most list the flywheel for all 3 and the clutch kit for all 3 so it seems like it should no? (Doing the shifter bushings and the pins seized so trans has gotta come down; Also noticed the DMF puking some grease in the sight hole) Last edited by neilvan; 04-24-2020 at 10:08 AM.. |

Real oem lists:
25i/28i models : 21207587368(and accompanying disk) for the 25i/28i model, 228mm dia 30i & X-drive 25/28 models: 21207626561(and accompanying disk) w/ 240mm dia 330xi/530xi wagon/X3 3.0Si & N20 Z4/x1: 21207625149 (same disk as above) w/ 240mm dia. I'm guessing the pressure plate is either stiffer to hold the extra weight/driveline weight but how much of a difference will it really make. I dont see anyone having trouble with all N/A bolt ons w/ 228mm clutch Has anyone used an xi clutch on i or vice versa? The Valeo Single mass lists under the ***561 part number; has anyone used it with a modded x-drive x30 or x25/x28 w/ 3 stage mani? Last edited by neilvan; 04-24-2020 at 10:15 AM.. |
