I have a 2020 G02, but I would expect this applies to both G01 and G02, there are two side compartments in the cargo area.

The one on the right is unlabeled and has fuses inside, there is a plastic bin in the bottom of the compartment.

The one on the left is labeled with a road hazard triangle and a "+". There is nothing inside the plastic bin in the bottom of the compartment. I get that this is a good place to store a reflective triangle and first aid kid but nothing is in the car.

Should there be? Did anyone get something in there with their 2019 or 2020 X3 or X4?

Both of my side compartments behind the pull-out panels were empty too. I use those areas to store bottles of water.

My car came with reflective triangle and first aid kit stored behind the LH compartment.

I don't know if this is up to the dealer to put the stuff in.In addition I also had 2 warning vests in the compartment and I think this was all compementary by my dealer.

@TrackDad are you in the US? Can’t see profile details on a mobile device. Past practice for German carmakers has been to not provide safety triangles in the US market. Not sure about BMW’s practice on first aid kits. Mercedes provides first aid kits in the US market.

My X3 did not come with anything in the left compartment, which, similar to yours was marked with hazard and first aid. I do use it for a first aid kit, flares, and detailing bottles.

Yes - in the US. So it sounds like it should be empty unless my dealer provides on their own?

Believe they're supplied by the manufacturer in Europe only.

Mine (Australia) came with a FA Kit buried at the bottom of the LHS compartment. I moved that to the main underfloor area for ease of access.

I think there's also a triangle in that compartment...will now have an excuse to go to the car to look later

Hi.
In Abu Dhabi, we get first aid kit and warning triangle in the boot.
We also get a fire extinguisher mounted under the front seat!.
These are all obligatory items to be carried in cars here!.

Would a person that has the first aid kit and the triangle be willing to humour (UK spelling to play to your sympathy) us and take several details pics:

where it all fits?
what they look like removed?
what part numbers are listed on each of the items?
what extra pieces are needed?

I have seen a few listed when I search but am not willing to pull the trigger because there always seems to be another piece that I need.
