Hi,

An emissions light came on in the vehicle or. Last time this was due to the active grille not opening or closing and they replaced it.

Today another error. Checked and the grille is open after turning off vehicle. If I can confirm the light is the grille being stuck open I’ll feel a lot better driving until Bmw has time to get me in.

Disregard. They closed the next time I shut it off and light is still on when I turn it back on.

When I go for a spirited drive and park shut the car off the grills remain open for a few minutes and the fans are running. Then the grills shut and the fans turn off shortly. So yes if youre parked the grills always close.
