Extend steering wheel further

Hey everyone,

I currently have a 2019 x3 m40i and I feel like the steering wheel does not come out far enough even though I have it extended all the way out and downwards. Is there a way to extend the wheel a bit further, even an inch or two safely? Moving the seat further up causes my legs to get cramped up- (have the ventilated seats). Any solutions??

Cheers

Are steering wheel spacers an option?

I've never heard of spacers to extend the steering column, but I suppose that doesn't mean they don't exist. Did you try google? I guess this didn't come up during the test drive?

Try moving the seat forward. You shouldn't need one of these:

A tip I heard somewhere is, arms fully extended, your wrists should touch the wheel.

Ive got the total opposite problem. My previous Benz wheel went right into the dash. This BMW steering wheel is too far out even when pushed in all the way! 35" sleeve for shirts lol

I too find that the X3's wheel doesn't quite come out far enough so I have my seat a little closer to the dash than I normally do. My previous X2 and 335i were fine

Do you find that your legs get in a cramped or awkward position?
