Need help with tire spec

Hey guys,
I'm ordering a new set of wheels and I don't know which tires to go with. I'm ordering a set of variant wheels 19 x 8.5 all around. I'm sitting on stock suspension.

2018 BMW 320Xi

They told me that 235/40/19 or 255/35/19 should fit perfectly. What do you think ?

they're correct, either choice will work

235/40/19 (26.4") will fill the unsightly wheel gap a bit, especially on unlowered cars.

255/35/18 (26") more grip on the curves, however being slightly heavier and wider(rolling resistance) may feel more sluggish out of the hole.

between the two, i'd go with 235/40, especially on a 4cyl.
