From the thumbnail/preview picture, it looks aggressive and sporty...that is until you reach the rear where it's awkwardly boxy. I know rears on BMW's are boxy but this one just looks off and a bit too high.

Such an abomination of a vehicle not even worth my time watching the video. BMW where have you drifted off to?!?! Google 2016 Kia Forte ex...there is a slight resemblance...did bmw steal the Kia designer?

Doesn't look terrible to me - I am more worried about the outcome of the new M3/M4. But fo an entry level car likely targeted to millennials, this fits the form and function requirements.

You should be. The very accurate renders are hideous. As a guy who has owned every chassis code M3/M4 since the E36, I hate to say that the G80 may be the first one I don't get.

Skip to 52s to see them show a rolling shot of the M235i GC, then switching to a rolling shot of the M2C shortly after. My god this GC is so ugly.

A reskinned Mini. FWD and proportions that are simply not BMW. The bean counters have won, but the profits from these cars help go towards making the real M cars so I am all for having more of these type of "BMW's"

It was a trade.

Kia/Huyndai gave BMW this design and in return BMW gave them Albert Biermann (Former chief engineer of BMW M).

M badge in a 4 cylinder. There were days that a V8 was minimum for an M ///M3 car.

Yeah don't tell me that technological advancement has cut that equation to half. I say more marketing even for a light car. Give the same V6 in G20 340i at least to justify that badge. Lower weight means nothing to me, it just scales down the power here.

Pure marketing geniuses.
