Does the X5 come with a dash cam? Does the X7?

Do the new X5/X7 models include built in dash cams for capturing accidents and the like? I have one now but would prefer not mounting it in the new car.

It's doubtful BMW built in dash cams will be better than aftermarket high end models from BlackVue or Thinkware. Get the best dash cam which meet your requirements.

PS. What dash cam do you have now?

I have a Nextbase dash cam now. But no rear camera. I was hoping my next car would have all that integrated. It's an OBVIOUS feature manufacturers like BMW should offer even if as an option.

If it isn't integrated I guess my next car I will get the rear camera too and have it professionally installed. One of these days I think I'll wish I had video of some event on the road.

Its an option. Check out drive recorder. Uses all cameras to record events such as an accident. It is probably bundled with a package.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

Yeah that is the feature. I'm not sure how far out it records. I'll need to ask.
