B58 Wedge Performance Tune

I just wanted to create this thread to show my appreciation and overall satisfaction with my custom tune through Wedge Performance thus far

Timeline: ordered my tune (93 octane) and paid for an additional fun map (flames)

That same day I contacted Ken just to see what the turn around time would be from ordering, was expecting 2-3 days or so.

I was able to speak to him on his personal cell phone and he informed me that Steve handles B58s and that he was on a flight home and had an additional 1 hour drive home.

Steve contacts me via email a couple hours later to correct some details so he can send me a base map and within 15 mins I got my 2 maps.

It's only day 2 and they have both shown superior customer service with exceptional communication what I would call them going 'above & beyond' to make this experience as pleasurable as possible. I highly recommend anybody to get a tune through them. 10/10

Here's a photo attached of the fun map

I've been tuned by Wedge for almost a year, and they're definitely number 1 on my list of top tuners.

Wouldn't suggest using the flame map too often as it can cause issues to plugs, injectors, etc. It's definetly a fun party trick to use once and awhile though haha.

Oh, it's specific for your vehicle and current modifications. One size fits all hat versus you're actual hat size I guess you could say.

The philosophy I get but what is the dyno/draggy/real life difference between OTS and custom on 93 ?

Haven't gotten the chance to dyno or dragy but I'm sure SC_B5X can fill you in since he's been running the tune for a year now

Tuning platform doesn't matter if the tune is custom. It's just a flasher then, because ROMs are edited in other software - WinOLS or Tunerpro.

Wedge only works on MHD afaik. There are quite a lot of differences between the two flashers, if you message them they can explain it better than I can.

I agree Steven has been great to work with.
My base map was sent to me within an hour of ordering and revisions have been pretty quick compared to other tuners I've used in the past.
The main delay has been me getting good logs to send back.
