Hi all.

Bear with me. This is my first BMW. Does the rear have a two screw license plate bracket to install the licence and/or frame on, or does the frame and/or plate get mounted directly to the metal with only the two top screws?

There is a bracket which is mounted on the car with 2 screws. You then mount the plate on to the bracket using 4 screws.

Yes. Actually I don't know about europeans models.

Yes. US models looks like in the pic I posted above.

European ones probably don’t need the holder since they utilize the two screws on the trunk lid itself.
