Post BMW 335D Turbo removal

Having to pull my turbos on my 335d due to bad seals, will be upgrading the blades on them, however before I start how do I remove them? I work on big diesels such as C-15 Cat engines and pickups but never a BMW and was wondering if I need to remove the Valve cover again and such things or if i can remove it without doing this..

I've never seen any DIY for this. Things that come to mind though is intake manifold should be off, intercooler disconnected, vacuum box removed, intake piping disconnected, downpipe disconnected, if you have emissions on still the egr will need to be disconnected, oil lines will need to be disconnected from the block, from there I'd think it would be pretty straightforward... Then I'm thinking you remove the HP turbo from the manifold and the piping going to the LP turbo first, then from there you can probably get at all the bolts to remove the manifold and pull out the LP turbo.

I've never done it though so there could be other ways, but that's how I would approach it if I were to do it.

Also does anyone know if Tims Turbo stage two for the 335d is two much for the engine to handle for daily driving? I'm considering exchanging for stage two or one but wanted to see what the turnout if any is for someone who has them already... or just a horsepower rating on them that's known.

The reliability is all in how you drive it and having a good tuner to tune it. I can hook you up with my tuner BRR if you'd like he has a great hybrid turbo option. I'll be going with him when my turbos on my 335d or x5d decide to die on me. You should be able to safely get 450whp with the stage 2 option though.

I Maintain the car pretty well, the previous owner didn't which explains why the turbo seals have failed I drive 14 miles everyday to work and back, however I don't like dogging my vehicles, however on some days I will drive fast or get on the throttle but those are days that I'm free on. Anyyyywayyyy I will get on getting my turbo's out so I can get it running again...

This is my high pressure and it ate the seals in the low pressure as well as the fan blades.

Small turbo from above. No VC needs to come off.
Large turbo from underneath and back. Need to remove DPF/downpipe. Replace main oil feed line while at it.
