Isn't it strange when you find your old car for sale... pretty much what I got for it now the price has been reduced.

It had a new back tyre fitted and brand new front disks and pads fitted under warranty just before It went back to BMWFS.

Car has an M4 boot lip spoiler fitted which is from BMW (Not a replica).

It's crazy how dated the F interior is now compared to your new RRS.

I had the same and found it easy to keep clean - just use dr leather wipes occasionally.

I had oyster in my old old F30 wasn't hard to keep clean. I did like how bright it made the interior.

For me it was a nightmare... I'm sure opal is the opposite end of the scale, it does show jeans transfer on the bolsters especially.

It cleaned up nicely with a quick clean every few weeks.

The toughest thing about Looking after that car was keeping it swirl free, tanzanite just seemed to be horrendous for swirl marks in the paint.

Suppose if we all liked the same thing it would be a boring world

Same for me, mine is up on Sytner's site at just 1K over what they gave me, plus i can imagine anyone buying will get some discount, so they will probably lose on the deal after the costs of prep for sale. It was a good time to get into the G01 last Qtr.

Also do not think they have included the MPPSK in description, no mention of it at all, so the buyer is going to be surprised.

Did your car have a ceramic coating to help prevent the swirls? The reason I ask is the G21 I've got on order is Tanzanite Blue but if it's a real pain to keep looking nice I could yet be tempted to change it for something else while the spec can still be amended. I don't mind spending time cleaning a car - and try to do it right with the twin bucket method, etc - but if Tanzanite turns into swirl city no matter what you do I think that would play havoc with my OCD!!

It was swirl city, I am no detailer but I do try my best to stop it (Two bucket method, grit guard, regular cleaning & polishing with products to remove and prevent swirls).

It didn't have any ceramic coating, it did look great but if I was ordering again I would avoid it.

Will be interesting what others say about it.

Someone's getting a nice surprise with that kit!

Wow how dated does the digital dash look in your car, I think I actually preferred the analogue dials in my F32.

If you insist! G21 M340i, current spec is Tanzanite with Tartufo Merino leather, Piano Black Wood and Sun Protection Glass; oh, plus Premium, Technology, Visibility and Comfort Packs. This particular boat's already been pushed further than intended and is out as far as it's going to go!!

Can you please start a separate thread for this? Some forum members may not be tracking this thread so you aren't really giving them a fair crack of the whip

That reads like a fantastic spec what's missing?

Sounds stunning. To answer your question, ceramic coating will help but will not completely eliminate swirling. I had my audi done and after two years there was minor (very minor) swirling on the gloss black trim on the C Pillar, and it had been to the local car wash....

Spec sounds good. I assume one of the packs includes pan roof, another 360 degree cameras, another the lane assist stuff and finally heated seats all round and heated steering wheel? you then just need an individual colour - if you are keeping it 5 years its only a few hundred quid a year..... and whilst at it may as well go for extended merino....

And nest new thread needed.... might as well call it "what else can you spend my money on? will this be the most expensive G21 ever...."

No indeed, those packs don't include either Park Assist Plus or Drive Assist Plus

If you're going Merino, you've kind of got to have the leather dash too, surely?
