Bmw f30 maintenance help
Hello everyone I have a 2013 BMW 328 xDrive that has 79k miles. As I get closer to 100k I'm worrying about the car failing or coming up with some sort of issues as I have read a bunch about the N20 and N26 engines, but so far I haven't experienced any issue besides replacing the fuel pump which was a while ago. Does anyone have any tips on maintenance or precautions I should take? Anything I should do before something goes bad. So far I have done the very basic of doing regular oil changes on time I'm ready to replac the sparks and coil packs. I would like to keep my car going for as long as possible so any help would be appreciated!

I'm at 80K in my 2016 340i, and it's not covered by Bentley yet...but 'you' could get a Bentley and be able to fix almost anything that comes up.
You shouldn't need new coils when doing the plugs unless you have a misfire. I believe your car, like every bmw practically will need a new oil filter housing gasket at some point, and your valve cover gasket will start to leak. I'm going to do my fuel filter soon. I've already done my air filter and cabin air filter...waiting for oil filter to come. I have also been using Techron a few times a year in my previous bmws...my e46 has 386,000 miles on it. Also, rinse off the undersides, especially in the rear wheel area...hose down the lip, it collects crap...at least not so much salt in CA as in NJ. Good luck! |
