Trading car in around January...

because golf bag doesnt fit comfortably in my trunk.

Obviously I wasn't that into the game when I bought the car.

How do you cope with this? I don't like having to fold down my back seat just to slide the damn thing in.

And.. has anyone ever had their club(s) damaged from being in the trunk?

Probably a bigger coupe or maybe the new A4 sedan. I heard some Porsche coupes can fit 2 golf bags!? But if I were going to fit a Porsche in my budget I would steer more toward the Maserati Gran Turismo

If it makes you feel any better...I am trading in my Land Rover LR2 for my 09' 335i xDrive currently in production...I have to fold down the seat in my LR2 because it isn't wide enough for my clubs...I know I will have to do the same with my 335...No big deal to me...but to each his own...
BTW...I live on a golf course and play all the time...I guess I am just used to it by now...

What???????

Are you CRAZY? You're going to get rid of that car because you don't like folding the seat down? Are you kidding? You give the lever a quick pull.......give the seat back a little push and voila.......plenty of room. That has to be one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. I'd rethink that.

You know you're a baller when you trade in your car because the golf clubs don't fit!

Hell...but they do fit...just not the way he wants them to fit...I guess I was too nice in my first post...I just keep my seat folded down most of the time because I play golf more than I have 5 people in my car...I hear you can get a good deal on a Suburban right now and they will fit many sets of golf clubs

Just take out your longest clubs and you'll be fine.

If you're trading the car in for this minor "inconvenience", then obviously golfing is more important to you than driving.

+1, taking out the Driver and Fairway Woods should do the trick

I always just take out the driver and the fairway woods out and all is good. I have taken 2 sets many times in the trunk that way...

sounds like your priorities shifted in life, and if this is more inconvenient now - and you are willing to lose thousands of dollars owing to trade in - then by all means do this.

Any sedan BMW will fit them fine, never mind the real estate. If the car is too small, i suggest getting a 6 series. That should fit the clubs, will be a peach of a car and with big depreciation rates you can get a great used one.

oh, and audis are for cocks. jk
