All Red Tail Lights for E90
Does anyone know where you can get all red tail lights for an E90 sedan similiar to the ones on the new 2009 E90? If no one makes them, someone definitely should. I think they look better than the Blacklines.
I think the all red tail lights on the new E90 looks pretty awesome. The other day I saw a new Boxster 550 Spyder with the optional all red tail lights and it looked real sinister. This must be the new styling trend for tail lights. |

I just ordered some RED vinyl overlays for my tail lights. I'm planning on putting them over the clear lenses on my blacklines. I'll post some pics as soon as I get them and installed. I tried the smoked vinyls on them and just had them over the clear lenses on top but it didn't look so good to me so I removed them. Hope the red looks better.

I didn't want to make it a permanent mod with painting the tail lights. I thought of that idea too.
I looked online to see if Hella made a set of all red tail lights for the E90, but didn't find it. I would love it if Hella did. Maybe they do for the E46. 3Thirty5i - I would love to see the pics of your red vinyl overlays when you get them installed! I would prefer an actual tail light replacement, but the overlays will do until someone makes them. |

I wish someone would make a different tail for the e92. That red border around the silver reflector/turn indicator just seems....off. If that part was all silver it would look sweet on AW/TS. I have JB so I'm thinking of tinting the lower part of the tail for a clean look.

Your best bet though will be on www.ebay.de (the german ebay). I' ve seen more stuff there for the rear E90 lights than anywhere else, and you can be almost sure that in a couple of weeks/months you' ll find somthing there. |

Looks are all in the eye of the beholder. To each his own.
I think it looks really unique and different. My car is black so it would really stand out a lot to have all red tail lights. E_90: Do you have more details about that paint job? Mitch_E90: Wouldn't you get most of the new '09 E90 rear look just by changing the tail lights? Doesn't seem like the trunk lid is much different. |

I just did mine. Only regret is I went one coat to dark. But one side was cracked so it was worth the gamble. Happy for the most part. Kind of has a 7 series look

Did mine a couple months back, I still like it. I have an extra roll and a half of red Lamin-x that will do the job if anyone wants it for 20 bucks + shipping? Lol

I had mine painted cherry red earlier this week. They're so much brighter in the sun, it'll be paired with brighter bulbs too so it stands out.
