TPMS on track wheels?

For those that have a seperate set of wheels for track days do you have TPMS installed? My last car I had my second set of wheels did not have the sensors and I just had to deal with the warning light during track events. This going to cause any issues besides the light on the dash?

No TPMS for my track wheels. I've gone 40+ track days on them.

Thanks! thats what I wanted to hear. Just wanted to make sure the computer didn't do anything crazy when the warning lights on for an extended period of time.

I know this is an old thread, but I have a related question. Does anyone run the TPMS on their track wheels? Wondering if there are any downfalls as to using them on the track. (To clarify, by track I mean road course, not drag strip)

I have used my stock 220M wheels on the track with TPMS

The issue I find is that when I drop the PSI to about 30PSi on a hot day, the warnings go off and it's annoying

So now, on my Volk TE37SLs, I don't even run TPMS. so I can adjust the pressure and it's not an issue.
The warning you get with no TPMS isn't as annoying as the one with low pressure warning
