N20 Turbo Lag

Hey guys,

I'm currently stage 2 on n20: running BM3, catted DP, Chargepipe, intake, FMIC. Are there any additional mods I could look into to reduce turbo lag? Possibly an intake inlet upgrade?

Any advice helps

Thanks

You can only do so much. The turbo requires a good amount of exhaust flow to get the turbine up to speed.

Turbo lag... seriously. The turbo is small and torque start at 1250 rpm. Where the turbo lag there.

I drove Lancer EVO and Silvia S14... now that what you call turbo lag.

I Neel like you might be experiencing a boost leave rather than turbo lag

This thing spools instantly pretty much. How much delay do you have at ~3k rpm in manual mode when flooring it? How about ~2k rpm. I get pretty much instant boost with all stock hardware at 3k and maybe a second delay at worst at 2krpm.

Actually the more you increase the size of your intercooler/piping the more lag you introduce. Should be marginal though.
