Yes, it's a little distracting, but I still prefer it. Got used to it. I adjusted the height down as low as I could go without cutting off my view of the digital speedometer indication, and that helps.

I find HUD in general annoying and have it off. In the day it's ok for navigation, but at night even dimmed, I don't like it.

I like it too. Only problem I have is I can't see it very well with Polarized sunglasses which I find strange as other cars I have driven with HUD are perfectly readable with Polarized sunglasses.

There's reduced view.

I use M-view by default as my DD settting. Love it!

Odd--my RS7P, E63S and both of my F90 M5s exhibit the issue with polarized lenses. Tilting your head like a curious dog makes it visible but, agreed, it's annoying.

Does anyone else keep their HUD off always? I honestly find it kind of annoying.

I think there is an actual dash button to the left of the steering wheel (possibly next to the wheel that controls dash brightness)......at least there was on my M550i.

I love it! I just wish I could set the M-view as default.

They don't work well w/polarized glasses (same on my wife's Q7), so I bought a pair of cheap sunglasses!

The M View is too in my face f; don't like it at all. However, I cannot do without the regular HUD view.

I take it you have the M view attached as a setting on the M1 or M2 button though.

I like it during the day but at night its a bit excessive for me. Is there a button to toggle it on and off like prior cars. I was looking the other day and couldnt find one.

Vic,
I have the HUD, stored in one of the favourite buttons, so that I can switch it on and off at will. I love the M view, but confess to switching the HUD off at night, as it’s too distracting
