I have to admit I'm not a fan of this new style shifter in recent BMWs... it feels kind of cheap and flimsy. Are there any after market upgrade options available out there?

Really? It feels better than the selector in my X3. I thought it would feel cheap and flimsy but mine is solid and sturdy.

Ok maybe not flimsy but definitely feels cheap with all the plastic. Looking for something like this…

Ahhh. That I can understand. I guess we’ll have to wait for the M3 and see if that can be retrofitted somehow. Or wait for the M3 and then see when aliexpress comes out with something similar.
