Took my bone stock M340i to the track tonight
Pretty consistent, seems to do better on cold runs. It is an X-Drive also I should mention.

I probably won't ever take mine to a drag strip but it's cool to know what it can do. Very impressive numbers. How did you launch? Launch control, brake torque on your own, or just floor it?

What's the process for installing something like this? I have seen kits on ebay or Aliexpress but I'm afraid I won't be capable of installing them myself.
Has anyone installed one before? Seems like double sided tape and screws but I feel apprehensive drilling into my new car... |

Great times! Would love to see what a stage 1 tune from Mission would do for comparison. If the M340 is close to 12 flat bone stock, with a stage 1 tune I would expect it to be close to mid 11’s.

So it seems like we have enough runs recorded to give the X-Drive a 12.0 to 12.1 QT and the RWD a 12.3 to 12.4. Both trapping around 114. Those are M3 trap speeds. A mission stage 1 would probably make it faster than the M3 CS. You really get a lot of performance for your money with this car! Did you use launch control?

It's screws and double sided tape. Honestly if I had to recommend it there are probably nicer ones out there than the 3 piece I got on ebay.

I hand made them, took some time with a buddy to cut them out.
Just got my Titan Motorsports downpipe, time to get a tune and then see what she runs. |
