335d M57 - No Start

Causes other than a bad High Press Fuel Pump (HPFP)??
What controls HPFP?
Tech also claiming gas in fuel system (not on my watch as I do the fueling)
Engine turns over for a few seconds then stops. No desire to fire.

Thoughts??

Need more info than this. What's happening? How did this start? Past maintenance history?

Yeah if this is in the hands of a tech, what is the car being repaired for. What was replaced etc.

Remember it's not impossible for the wrong fuel to be delivered from the right pump at the fuel station; there could be gas in the car, even though you used the diesel pump

My car had gas in the tank when I bought it (that's why it was totaled). It ended up having 3 bad injectors and the HPFP was cashed.
